I love meeting women who are about to transition into motherhood! This beautiful woman is another first time mother. I loved that she gave me some artistic direction by requesting something mandala - like, but gave me artistic freedom to create the details.

She returned for photos a few days later and we took some in the studio, then headed outside. In one of these photos you can see behind the scenes - my lovely photo assistant helping to light the pregnant mama. The first few green blades of grass were beginning to come up! So exciting to see green again here in Colorado. She took off her shoes and walked on the earth… so beautiful.
